President of LIMANY, Mr. Abraham Turay handling out shoes in Liberia-October, 2007

Thank you for making 2007 the most successful year in the history of the Liberian Mandingo Association of New York. We are grateful for the contribution each of you has made to our various projects.

With your contributions, we were able to inform and inspire million of people everyday, we connected with them in countless meaningful ways, and most of all you made a difference in their lives. And your humanitarian contributions enabled us to deliver more than 200,000.00 dollars worth of assorted materials to Liberia. With your help, our humanitarian hands reached to the University of Liberia, John F. Kennedy Hospital, Muslim Congress High School, Madia Junoir High School, Lott Carey High School, Salafiya High school, Kpain High School, Ganta High Schools, the Liberian Marketig Association in Monrovia, the Toddler Care Nursery & Daycare Center, and the Church of God in New kru Town and so on.

We extend a special thank you to the following individuals, organizations, and institutions: The students at Hunter College High School in New York for the donation of books and shoes; the Nimba Association of New York; our friends at the New York Post; the African Culture Alliance of North America (ACANA); the Trans Continental Realtor Group of New York; Mayaba Hair Braiding in Philadelphia; writers and contributing writers at www.limany.org; the entire Liberian, African and international communities; the entire Mandingo community; and our families for standing by us.

We are confident to say: “To Be Continued” in 2008 with new innovative spirit to make our community and Liberia better.

May God bless each of you and your family.

Sincerely,

Abraham Turay
