Recycling and Recyclable Politicians
By Tarty Teh
The Perspective magazine should have written a full-fledged editorial about its disagreement with the position of LURD's Secretariat, instead of sticking an opinionated note ("Editor's Note") on LURD's response to Mr. Harry A. Greaves' pontification about the intent of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed in Accra, Ghana, August 18, 2003.

ULAA's National Executive Vice President, Mrs. Roberta P. Davies-Rashid to chair the committee for recruiting qualified Liberians within the Diaspora (United States, Europe and Canada) who are interested in serving our country during this crucial period in our nation’s history

Mandingoes, The Liberian Civil War: What Next?
ABU M. KAMARA I would suggest that as the dust settles, special arrangement be made in order to rehabilitate the war victims in our midst ranging from handicapped to orphans etc. This will make life more meaningful for those who suffered from bodily injuries in the course of war and further strengthen our unity.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT:
A RESPONSE TO TOM KAMARA’S ANTI-NEW DEAL MOVEMENT DIATRIBE

The Way to Lasting Peace in Liberia

The question is whether if peace returns to Liberia as all hope, it will be durable or might just be a recess for another round of violence. It is this debate on whether or not there will be lasting peace in Liberia following the Accra Peace Agreement that I want to make a contribution to this morning. Therefore, I will speak to you this morning on the topic: The Way to Lasting Peace in Liberia

WHAT DOES TOM KAMARA WANT?
Tom has been one of the most consistent critics of Charles Taylor. Now that Taylor is out and the interim leader is finally put forward, it will be better for him to join others to work with Chairman Bryant in whichever capacity possible so that the desired result may be achieved.

Complacent Liberians: Do Not Be Complacent

Mandingoes, The Liberian Civil War: What Next?
BY: ABU M. KAMARA

A REPLY TO LIBERIA'S CRY
Until you see a need for change, you can't create a change. The political and socio-economic mal-experiences faced by Liberians with the statecraft of former president Charles Taylor, have surpassingly brightened our sights, quenched our thirsts and filled our guts.

My People Are Being Abused
July 7, 2003...Samuel Kofi Woods, 1994 Reebok Human Rights Award and 1999 Benemenrenti Medal (given by Pope John Paul II), writes to highlight
HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES in Liberia.

THE DAY THAT WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR MEMORY
Monday August 11, 2003 will be remembered as a historic day in Liberia and indeed in Africa-seeing an African leader resigning under whatever condition. In Africa, we fight to the last because we don't want to accept defeat even if we cannot win. (CONTINUE)

WE WANT PEACE NO MORE WAR
Message...As we watched history unfolded today, Mr. Charles G. Taylor, former President of Liberia, boarded a Nigerian aircraft today, presumably heading for Nigeria, which will be his new home away from home. Since Mr. Taylor is no longer in Liberia, let's continue to pray for the restoration of the long lost peace that our people have yearned for over the past 14 years. Let us begin the healing process.....
