The Foundation Reacts to the Death of Brother Nvasekie's Wife
December 30, 2003
The Foundation for Progress is deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Sister Makemeh Konneh, the wife of its dear member, Nvasekie N. Konneh. The Foundation also offers its deepest and sincere condolences to the rest of the Konneh and Donzo families for this irreplaceable loss.
Sister Makemeh Konneh lived with a degree of kindness that positively touched those of us that were fortunate to meet her, and we will forever remember her. While we cannot question as to why Allah has called her home, we must remain thankful that He allowed her to contribute to the history of humanity.
As you search for guidance in this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we will offer other supports to the extent possible. May Allah be with you in this time of need, and we trust that He will guide young Nvasekie Konneh Jr. to a life that will keep Sister Makemeh's motherly proud alive.
Sincerely,
The Foundation for Progress
