Graduate
Daoud Kenneth
The
month of May is a "graduation month" in America. As such we
are coming out with another version of "Honoring and Celebrating
Education In Our Community."
Eight years ago, we held a program under this theme. The goal was to encourage
folks in our community about school, especially the university and college
education. This is against the fact that the Mandingo/Moslem community
of Liberia lags far behind other Liberian communities in the area of education.
The only way to correct this situation is to encourage ourselves to go
to school.
Today, LIMANY is asking the entire Liberian
community to join us in honoring and celebrating the achievement of Graduate
Daoud B. Kenneth (aka: Chidao Deni) who will graduate from Prairie
View A&M University in Houston, TX with Bachelor of
Science Degree in Nursing. Mr. Kenneth is Vice President of the
Liberian Mandingo Association of Houston. We are proud of you and your
family.
Chidao Deni
is the son of Mr.Blamasi Kenneth and Mrs. Fanta Kenneth of Bahn, Nimba
County, Liberia. He is the grandson of the former chief Imam of Bahn,
Nimba County, Alhaji Bana Mohammed Kenneth, a nephew of the Grand Mufti
of Liberia, Sheik Abubakar MD Soumaoro and Sheik Mohammed Kanneh of Philadelphia.
