They whisper their words of viper in dark closet
Enflaming young minds with words of hatred and division
Setting the stage for future conflagration

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They transform themselves into objects of sex
To be exploited by journey men of no direction

Seen in every entertainment center and areas of drinks
They waste their beauty while time quietly slipped away

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They speak of justice when they actually means injustice
And fabulously lived out of the misery of the poor
They demean, denigrate, suppress and subjugate the rights of the poor
And only speak truth to power when it concerns them

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They are the religious bigots
Those who shout the religious destiny of Liberia
Not for purpose of understanding and wisdom
But to exploit an already fragile situation
Creating religious tension where none has existed
They shout words of faith on street corners
Even though they lacked the modicum of faith
As if they have been to God and back

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They define political appointments and government jobs in narrow terms
Tribe, religion, culture, camaraderie-ship, clique league, and craft-hood
Denying others the opportunity to live decent life and realize their full potential
They foment ethnic strives, cultural frictions, religious tensions and all

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They establish university for arm-robbery that offers degree in juvenile delinquency, child trafficking, child labour, black money, and prostitution
Colleges offering courses in drugs trafficking, pick-pocketing and gender-based violence with emphasis in rape and abuse of the girl child
Consciously aware that these actions inhibit peace and stability they still carry-on

They are the anti- peace elements and must unclench fists!

They called them boss man or Sugar daddy, god pa and all
Having taken their pay they back-passed homes and head for the ghetto or the bar
Out of their monthly take home, change is what they bring home
Irresponsible dads we called them but worst than that they are
For they avenged their past night drinking and empty pockets on voiceless women

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

PART II

They interpret freedom and rights into a bottomless pit
Wearing clothes that ashamed womanhood in the name of right
Right without obligation is madness
And without law and order man is a beast

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They empty-praise the leader even in broad-day wrong
Blaming themselves for the unhappy state of the powerful
With some at length sacrificing themselves just to please at the detriment of the masses
Ill-counsel is what they offer
Sugar lips, sweet tongues, emotionally-charged body language and beautiful words of flattery are their priceless assets
To deceive, cheat, and poison the minds of leaders for their own ends
Just to make ends meet

They are the anti-peace elements and must unclench their fists!

They must be stopped less our fragile peace will not survive
Amidst all that has been done for its sake
Our cultural heritage and norms must be revived
As once existing ties of oneness and friendship was no mistake
So let it be rekindle and enflamed for Mama Liberia’s sake
