SUPT. KARNWEA SPEAKS TO NIMBIANS IN AMERICA
--A RESPOND TO UNICO'S PRESS RELEASE

"What our people seemingly do not understand is that all the five tribes in NIMBA are citizens and any attempt by any of the ethnic groups to deny the other will not promote the peace process. Our constitution provides that citizenship is obtained by birth or naturalization. Almost all the Mandingos that we are talking about today were born in NIMBA. Some of them are sons and daughters of Gio, Mono, Krahn and Gbi women."

LIBERIANS WANT CONSTITUTIONAL ADHERENCE, NOT ABROGATION
I want to engage this medium to commend counselor Johnson-Morris for her  courage so far. It is not easy to hold such position in these crucial times in Liberia. However, I want to establish my disappointment about the attempt to deny Diaspora Liberians of their constitutional rights to vote. Recently, I was surfing the internet when I read a letter from counselor Johnson-Morris to ULAA.

Liberia's peacekeeping legacy
One of the legacies the former West African peacekeeping force for Liberia - Ecomog - left behind in the 1990s was more than 6,000 fatherless children. .Most of the soldiers left their partners no means of future contact and many of their children are being supported by a local charity in the capital, Monrovia...

Weah has better chances among the good guys
If the appearance of Mr. Weah on the political scene will serve as a motivation for a coalition to produce a comparatively qualified candidate that will eventually win the presidency that will be a welcome development.

ASSESSMENT OFSOME DAMAGES OF THE CTOBER 2004 FRACAS
In the wake of the violent eruption on October 28, 2004, some Liberians were shocked to learn for the first time that there was a "religious conflict" in Liberia. ULAA Led ALNC Committee Overlooks Muslims
-Dr. Dukule exits from the committee
"
But those who are putting themselves in position of leadership must not forget that it's the respect of the rights of the minority that makes any organization strong. And Liberia will hardly reconcile if its leaders think that their gods, or their religion is better than the system of belief of others. I joined the committee today and I am taking my exit today. Because it appears that for the majority therein, the only way to reconciliation is through their ways and thoughts. " Dr. Dukule wrote.

CCL Withdraws from ALNC (Press Release)
The leadership of CCL has therefore resolved that the current trend of contentious activity runs incompatible to the objectives for which we were invited to serve. It is also our belief that this great effort cannot be achieved in an atmosphere which cannot honestly be described as an environment of genuine cooperation. It is upon these grounds that the CCL, after a comprehensive review of activities herein, has resolved to withdraw its participation from the All Liberian National Conference.

Education & the Liberian Power Dynamics: Part I
No one in our modern world can easily dismiss the adage that “education is power.” The influence and intrusive nature of information technology in our homes, offices, and communities have made education mandatory for the acquisition of knowledge in every sphere of human endeavor. Education is therefore the bedrock of every modern society, since education holds the key to individual success or failure in our current world.

The reality we face in Liberia today is a clear indication that the war is not yet over. But let me quickly remind you that the real war that must be fought now requires different ways and strategies from the previous ones. Morality From Within
The year 2004 got its share of the longstanding, religious debate. We are even told the moral vote decided a major presidential election. While religion comes in different forms, the core lesson of every religion is kindness toward others. We are asked to feed the hungry. Give water to the thirsty. Give clothe to the naked. Heal the sick. Shelter the homeless. And treat others, including those with no or different faith, fairly.

THE LAST LAUGH
At last, the census issue with regards to the forthcoming elections in war-torn Liberia has finally been put to rest.  Therefore, Liberians should now prepare themselves (just in case they haven’t done so already) to witness one of the most exciting elections ever in the failed West African state’s history.  Or at least, that’s what some people are saying.

“Love” for one’s Own Country Should Transcend Egotism;
--an open Letter to Mr. Gearge Oppong Weah
Mr. Weah, for the many people I have and continue to speak to, the general consensus is that, you are a “Serious factor” that we cannot brush off or underestimate in this Presidential race and the future of Liberia. These people who have described you as a “serious factor” in the race have however, predicted you to be a massive failure if (when) elected as President of Liberia at this particular time.
